COLORADO SPRINGS – The Big Sandy School District is CLOSED this morning. People living in Cripple Creek and Victor are seeing a little more snow than we are in the lower elevations and there is a two-hour delayed start time for the Cripple Creek and Victor schools.
Light snow is covering the grassy areas in Colorado Springs and Pueblo this morning and there are no delays or closures as a result.
As you head out for the commute this morning, you’ll find mainly wet roads. You may find a few slick spots in the higher elevations, but that is not the case here.
Make sure you have plenty of windshield wiper fluid, splashback is an issue on the highways and so is standing water, but for the most part, it’s a pretty good drive in most areas.
