BLACK FOREST – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men after raiding an illegal marijuana grow in Black Forest Wednesday night.

Deputies seized more than 360 plants, heroin, cocaine and 25 firearms along with “thousands” of rounds of ammunition in the raid, which happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Tactical units raided the home in the 14300 block of Holmes Road, which is near the Cathedral Pines trailhead. El Paso County Sheriff Bill Elder told News 5 deputies found evidence that the home was being used to produce hash oil.

No one was hurt during the raid, and no shots were fired.  Elder said three people were originally taken into custody, but a woman was eventually released.

Authorities have not released the identity of the suspects who were arrested.
