COLORADO SPRINGS – It was an exciting day Tuesday for more than two dozen first responders in Colorado Springs.

Thirty American Medical Response employees were given their badges. It’s a big deal for these workers, it shows the training, education and hard work that they have put in to serve the people of Colorado Sprigs and Pueblo.

For new paramedic Jonathan Eahehart, a former EMT, he’s seen the work that AMR employees do, and it inspired him to further his career.

“Just to see them treat and take care of patients and doing so well and being amazing at it, pushed me to want to do it,” he said.

Of those receiving their badges, 16 are paramedics, 12 are EMT’s and two are dispatchers.
