CAÑON CITY – Emergency equipment and utility crews are on the scene of a major gas pipeline leak that may have been caused by an accident along Highway 50 east of Cañon City.
Both eastbound lanes of Highway 50 are open, but you may find a lane closed on the westbound side of the highway near Penrose. Watch for delays.
Exactly what caused the leak is unknown at this time. This story is developing and we’ll update it as we learn more.
