COLORADO SPRINGS – Authorities in Texas contacted military police at Fort Carson this week to secure the arrest of a soldier facing charges for distribution of child pornography.
22-year-old Andrew Couvion is accused of uploading child pornography via social media. The Abilene Police Department’s Cyber Crimes Unit is handling the investigation in their jurisdiction.
Detectives have not released information on how Couvion is connected to the address in Tuscola, Texas where a search warrant was recently executed as part of the investigation. The small town is in Taylor County, Texas just south of Abilene.
