COLORADO SPRINGS – A family of five was displaced by a house fire in Colorado Springs Thursday night.
The fire started in the garage of a home on Summer Breeze Drive, near Vickers and Flintridge, at around 10 p.m.
Two adults and three children were asleep when the fire started, but smoke detectors woke them up. They got out of the house safely, as did their dog.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
