COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of one man outside homes on Roundtop Drive, near Dublin and North Academy.
CSPD Lt. Howard Black says the call to 911 for gunshots came in around 3:30 a.m. Officers arrived to find the man dead at the scene from multiple gunshots wounds. No information on any suspects in the case has been released. However, the police department says there is no threat to the public.
A neighbor tells News5 he is shocked a crime like this could happen in what is usually a very quiet area.
