Fresh powder isn’t just coming to the Colorado mountains this weekend, FEET of fluffy stuff is possible this weekend in southwestern mountain ranges.
Wolf Creek, Silverton, Purgatory and other ski areas in the San Juans were slammed with snow this week. Wolf Creek even has a 125-inch base!
Since snow is in the forecast on Friday, be sure to check if traction or chain laws are in effect. Some roads could be in rough shape on Friday and Saturday morning.
The forecast for Monarch and Loveland includes much more snow Friday, and breezy conditions over the weekend. Forecast highs go from either side of 20 Friday, teens Saturday, back up again a bit Sunday.
In Keystone and Breckenridge, snow Friday, bright & breezy Saturday & Sunday. Highs at base camp…high 20s Friday, low 20s Saturday, near 30 Sunday.
