Walmart announces $4-million grant to help employee development

COLORADO – Walmart announced that they want to help retail workers get ahead and that they’re committing $4-million dollars in grant money to do so.

The money is being used to help people develop their skills so they can advance their careers. The money will be used by the Colorado Workforce Development Council to create new retail partnerships to train workers.

Governor Hickenlooper says the move will drive success for employees and businesses across the state.
