DOUGLAS COUNTY – One of the largest Poinsettia distributors in Colorado is opening its doors to the public this weekend!

Dutch Heritage Gardens, located north of Black Forest, supplies Poinsettias to stores around the state. But they open their doors to the public twice a year, once in the spring and once in November to sell Poinsettias.

“We have hundreds of thousands of Poinsettias here for anyone to choose from,” said employee Aaron Van Wingerden.  “They’re fresh right off the greenhouse floor and anyone can take them home and they’re ready to go,”

The gardens will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The plants range in price from $2 to $15.
