PUEBLO – Musso Farms held their annual Chile eating contest on Saturday. The “Don’t Fear The Reaper” contest challenges people to eat a Dynamite Chile Pepper with nothing to drink.
After eating the first pepper, they have to eat an entire Musso Farms Reaper Chile Pepper.
Nathan Duncan, who won the contest said he eats a lot of spicy food and he said he doesn’t think he has heat receptors for his tongue. He said he’s unfazed in any way by heat.
Duncan won $100-dollars, a gold and silver Musso bracelet and two bushels of roasted chile.
