EL PASO COUNTY — School District 38 confirms to News5 it has made last-minute changes to its back to school plans.
Officials tell us the principal at Lewis-Palmer Middle School began experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Now he and other staff members who were in close contact are quarantined out of an abundance of caution.
Students at Lewis-Palmer Middle School will begin with online classes only for at least the first week of the school year, which now starts August 24.
The rest of the district starts on Wednesday, August 19.
