COLORADO SPRINGS — A meeting was held this week by the 2C Advisory Committee to update the ongoing road improvement projects across Colorado Springs.
At the meeting it was reported that all street projects this year are on time and on budget.
The voter approved 2C funds continue to pay for road improvement projects across the city and city leaders are hoping voters will choose to extend that tax for more projects in the years to come.
That issue will be appearing on the November ballot.
Mayor John Suthers says funds gathered as part of that extension would come at a lower tax rate and would also be used primarily on residential streets.
