NEW YORK (CNN BUSINESS) – McDonald’s is bringing some international menu items to the United States.
CNN reports that for a limited time the chain will sell the Stroopwafel McFlurry, the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger, the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Bacon Fries at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide starting June 5.
The company says the new items, which are from the Netherlands, Spain, Canada and Australia, are not that different from what McDonald’s already serves. McDonald’s says the new international items create an easy way for the company to put an exciting spin on some of its foods.
Last month, McDonald’s started selling a meatless burger, called the Big Vegan TS, in its German restaurants. They also sell the McVegan in Finland and Sweden. However, it’s not clear if McDonald’s will bring a vegan burger to the U.S.
