WINTERFELL – A slight oversight on the Game of Thrones set during Sunday’s episode has the Internet buzzing.
Social media users spotted a coffee cup that didn’t seem to belong on the table in front of Daenerys Targaryen.
It took two years and millions of dollars to film the final six episodes of Game of Thrones, which begs the question, “How does this happen?”
So far, HBO hasn’t commented on the apparent error. But it’s one of the few accounts that hasn’t weighed in. However, even Colorado Parks and Wildlife is using the gaffe to discourage people from littering.
We find coffee cups where they’re not supposed to be all the time. Not sure what the big deal is. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ #leavenotrace pic.twitter.com/CQPxKNx7Lr

Others are joking that Winterfell, not Seattle was actually the location of the first Starbucks.
Not sure why everyone is so crazed about the @Starbucks cup on the table in #GameofThrones. pic.twitter.com/2pB7lRG56D

While some believe it might be product placement.
