COLORADO SPRINGS – The long-awaited sequel to Avengers Infinity War, Avengers Endgame, arrives to theaters tonight! Tickets are getting hard to come by but there are still a few showings available through the area, especially if you don’t mind sitting in the front row.

It’s hard to believe that this all started over 10 years ago when Iron Man debuted in 2008. Since then, over 20 films and multiple television series have led to this epic conclusion for the current Marvel cinematic universe.

We took a look at the big theaters in town, AMC Chapel Hills 13, Tinseltown, Cinemark Carefree Circle, Regal Interquest and Icon Cinema, and all are showing very slim pickings for showtimes tonight. Most available seating at all theaters has been reduced to the first row or two, and several early evening showings are completely sold out. The same was true for most showings in Pueblo and Castle Rock.

If you don’t mind the front row or you already have your ticket bought for tonight, get ready for one long night in the movie theatre. Avengers Endgame has a running time of 3 hours, and that doesn’t even include the typical 20 to 30 minutes of previews Marvel usually dumps in front of its movies. A showtime of 6 pm tonight means you probably won’t leave the movie theatre till 9:30 pm, possibly later if you stay through the end credits!

If you were wondering if you needed to stay through the credits for a post-credit scene, don’t worry about it. Critics and other outlets have reported there is no post-credit scene, only a small audio teaser over the final Marvel logo as a call back to the first Iron Man movie.
