Earlier Thursday a memorial was held at the Staples Center with stars including Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, and Hussle’s fiance Lauren London in attendance.
Hussle, whose real name is Ermias Asghedom, was described as a person who cared about his community.
Thousands packed the streets of Los Angeles as Hussle’s body traveled down roads leading past his clothing store, where he was shot and killed in March, and eventually to Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.
The day before his death Hussle was set to visit the LAPD to talk about what could be done to prevent gang violence in South LA.
