CASTLE ROCK – It’s rare to see the Colorado State Patrol declare an Accident Alert for every federal and state highway and road in Douglas County and parts of Arapahoe County, but that’s the current situation.
News5 spoke with the State Patrol and they explained that unless someone is injured, the accident impedes traffic or drugs/alcohol are involved, they will not respond to the scene of other accidents.
If you are involved in a crash and it doesn’t appear to be serious and you don’t suspect alcohol or drugs, you can file an accident report online byclicking here.
