SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA – A grandfather has turned his front yard into a virtual winter fairy tale.
Don Greer, a retired architect, constructed a 23-foot high ice castle. He says his inspiration for the creation was his granddaughter who loves the popular animated movie, Frozen.
It took Greer two weeks to build the sculpture using wood and chicken wire. He debuted his masterpiece on Christmas.
Since then, it has become a huge hit with families in his neighborhood. Greer has been creating unique ice sculptures for nearly 50 years.
