FORT CARSON- A commander at Fort Carson is making himself available to answer questions about the Mountain Post Medical Home’s upcoming closure.

Mountain Post Medical Home will close within the next several months because it won’t be able to keep its lease. So the facility will be joining forces with Iron Horse Family Medicine Clinic at Evans Army Community Hospital on the Mountain Post. The clinic healthcare teams will continue to provide care to current patients and additional clinics and services will be available at the hospital.

Evans Army Community Hospital commander Col. Eric S. Edwards will be hosting two town hall meetings to address any questions or concerns that soldiers and their families may have.

Those meetings will be
– Thursday, Jan. 24 at 3 p.m.
– Friday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m.

If you are not able to attend the meetings, you are encouraged to call a patient advocate at (719) 526-7225.
