CANON CITY: High – 51; Low – 30. Mild today with sunshine.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 40’s; Low – 20’s. Sunshine and calmer conditions return with above average temperatures.
NEXT WEEK: A few areas of clouds tonight into Sunday. Temperatures continue warming. Highs will be in the 50’s to low 60’s to wrap up the weekend. Another cold front heads our way on Monday. High temperatures will depend on the exact timing of the front, but 50’s and a few low 60’s look possible ahead of it. As the front passes winds will increase, temperatures will drop, and rain/snow chances will arrive. We’ll have snow and wind Monday night into early Tuesday morning, which could cause some issues with the morning commute, especially over the Palmer Divide. Tuesday will be cold and breezy with highs only in the 30’s. Wednesday should be a break with dry skies and highs in the 40’s. Another disturbance will bring a chance for minor shower activity and breezy winds on Thursday.
