and last updated

Today’s Forecast:
It was COLD this morning… but we’re going to start feeling better pretty quickly as the sun comes up. High pressure across Colorado will keep the skies clear and dry today with warmer air arriving this afternoon. It will still be cold today, but highs back in the 30s and 40s will feel like a heat wave compared to Monday and Tuesday. Tonight, with a light wind and clear skies, we should expect more dangerously cold temperatures but instead of lows that are wide-spread single and negative temps, we’ll see numbers in the single digits and teens.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 39; Low – 14. Sunny skies with light winds and warmer afternoon temps.

PUEBLO: High – 40; Low – 7. Sunny skies with calm winds and warmer afternoon temps.

CANON CITY: High – 39; Low – 15. Sunny skies with calm winds and warmer afternoon temps.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 33; Low – 11. Sunny skies with light winds and cold afternoon temps.

TRI-LAKES: High – 30s; Low – >10. Sunny skies with light winds and cold afternoon temps.

PLAINS: High – 40s; Low – 10s. Sunny skies with calm winds and warmer afternoon temps.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 30s; Low – 10s. Sunny skies with light winds and warmer afternoon temps.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
The warming trend that we begin today peaks by Friday and Saturday, with highs well into the 50s and even 60s by Saturday! The lows at night will start warming up as well, but just know that the next few mornings will remain extra frosty. There are no rain or snow chances for quite some time, the only thing close will be some snow out in central Colorado on Sunday and Monday.
