PUEBLO WEST- A 22 year-old is in the Pueblo County jail after deputies say he pointed a gun at people while trying to steal from their vehicles this week.
Dylan Danley-Johnson now faces multiple charges including theft, felony menacing, criminal trespass, and attempt to commit robbery.
According to the Sheriff’s office, Danley-Johnson pointed a gun while trying to steal from neighbor’s vehicles on Covered Wagon Drive Wednesday.
A neighbor called 911 to report him, and deputies responded quickly.
Sheriff Kirk Taylor says the quick response is thanks to the vigilance of the neighbors.
“This young man is the suspect, not just in what was witnessed by these observant neighbors, but in at least one incident over 60 miles from here, and he matches the description of a Theft from Auto suspect in cases we have open from earlier this week,’ Sheriff Taylor said in a Facebook post by the county.
