<div class="caption-wrap"><div class="caption">Patrick Frazee is booked into the Teller County Jail on a charge of first degree murder. TELLER COUNTY – Both Patrick Frazee and Cheryl Berreth, the mother of Kelsey Berreth, appeared in court Thursday afternoon for a custody hearing regarding Frazee’s 1-year-old daughter.
After the hearing, the judge presiding over this Teller County court case placed Frazee’s child in temporary physical custody of the maternal grandparents.
Frazee’s mother did file a motion to intervene. The parties agreed to reserve hearing her motion and placement request for later.
The case will continue for a pre-trial conference next week on January 3, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.
Patrick Frazee was arrested December 21st at his family’s property in Florissant. The arrest came the morning after local, state and federal agents continued their search of Berreth’s home for a second time.
Chief De Young has said they obtained sufficient evidence to get an arrest warrant from a judge on the belief that Kelsey Berreth is no longer alive.
