Monday Weather: Temperatures stay nice, some additional clouds

Today’s Forecast:

Clouds will try to push in from the south and west throughout the rest of the day. Skies do stay dry, with any snow potential confined to the peaks of the Continental Divide. Temperatures stay well above average with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 57; Low – 30. Additional PM clouds with well above average temperatures.

PUEBLO: High – 60; Low – 28. Increasing clouds for the rest of the day with mild temperatures.

CANON CITY: High -60; Low – 34. Warm temperatures with increasing clouds.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 49; Low – 26. Another mild day with increasing clouds throughout the day.

TRI-LAKES: High – 50’s; Low – 20’s. Mild with sunshine during the day before clouds arrive this afternoon/evening.

PLAINS: High – 60’s; Low – 20’s. Increasing clouds today with warm temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60; Low – 30. Clouds increase quickly today with temperatures staying mild.

REST OF THE WEEK: Mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the 20’s and 30’s. Skies clear throughout the day on Tuesday with highs in the 50’s. Wednesday will bring the chance for some mountain snow, but dry conditions for the lower elevations. We will have some strong winds to go along with the dry conditions. Highs stay well above average in the 50’s. Winds improve on Thursday with temperatures in the lower 50’s, which is still above average for this time of year. We rebound nicely on Friday before we cool down again for the weekend. Still no sight of decent rain or snow chances.
