PUEBLO COUNTY – On Friday, Nov. 23rd, the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5500 block of Overton Rd. in North Pueblo County on a report of a dead body.
The Sheriff’s Office said a citizen located the body and contacted law enforcement.
With the help of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office identified the body as that of 47-year-old Barney Jenkins, of Colorado Springs.
The Sheriff’s Office said the death is being considered suspicious. They are working with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department on the case.
