Hit-and-run leaves teen with serious injuries in Pueblo West

PUEBLO – The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident with a 15-year-old pedestrian in Pueblo West Wednesday night.

The Sheriff’s Office said the female victim was trick-or-treating with a group of people walking eastbound on E. Cellini Dr. at about 7:20 p.m when she was hit by a westbound vehicle. The driver did not stop and continued westbound on Cellini.

The Sheriff’s Office said the victim suffered serious bodily injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on her status at this time.

The Sheriff’s Office said they were given multiple descriptions of the vehicle, but have not reported what those descriptions are. They said the vehicle should have damage to the right front fender and/or bumpers.
