COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects after a 71-year-old woman was robbed at TJ Maxx on Bloomington St.

According to CSPD, a 71-year-old woman was shopping at the TJ Maxx on Bloomington St. in Colorado Springs when two unknown males approached her and started a conversation.

CSPD said that while the woman was distracted by one suspect, the other suspect removed her wallet from her purse. The men then finished the conversation and left.

A short time later, the suspects charged over $2,500 on her credit cards.

If you recognize the suspects, you are asked to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department.

CSPD wants to warn the public that as we get closer to the holiday season, pickpocket activity increases and citizens should always be aware of their surroundings.
