CANON CITY – A gas leak has been reported at Field Ave and Elizabeth Street in a construction area in Canon City Monday afternoon.
Fire and Atmos Energy crews are on scene working to contain the leak. Local schools in the area are advised that normal foot traffic through the construction area is not permitted until the leak is secured.
There are no evacuations or injuries reported at this time.
