COLORADO SPRINGS – You may have noticed some new developments coming into downtown Colorado Springs!

This year 11 new street level businesses, including restaurants and shops, have already opened downtown. That’s according to the Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership.

Several of those businesses are in the New South End, including Atomic Cowboy! The new spot is three businesses all in one. Fat Sully’s serves as a bar and pizzeria during afternoons and evenings and the Denver Biscuit company serves hungry guests breakfast and lunch. They make everything in-house from their gravy’s to sausage and jams.

Plus, no space goes to waste! They open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 2:00 a.m. on weekdays and 3:00 a.m.on weekends.

The new south end is the stretch downtown from Vermijo to Fountain and this area is seeing some big changes. Right now, about 200 apartment units are under construction around there and a trio of new eateries just opened up. For more on the changes coming downtown click here.
