COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Firefighters rescued a 3-month-old puppy stuck in a cold air return Monday.

Firefighters worked Monday afternoon to help free the young pup. Colorado Springs Fire crews said the rescue was rewarding work as the 3-year-old owner was there to help.

The fire department posted adorable photos of the rescue on Twitter saying, “turning frowns upside down.”

The pup did not appear injured nor were there any other injuries reported.
