COLORADO SPRINGS – JCPenney is partnering up with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs for an event to help supply students with the attire needed to dress for success as they head into the workforce.

The “Suit Up event” will take place on September 16 at The Citadel, exclusively for UCCS students. The private event will help hundreds of students prep on what to wear for job interviews and their first jobs as working professionals.

The JCPenney team, UCCS faculty, staff, and alumni will all be at the event to offer insight into the latest career fashion trends, tips on how a suit should fit, what size to buy, how to tie a tie and more.

Not only that, JCPenney will offer a 40 percent discount to all UCCS students with a valid ID during the event. This will help make men and women’s suits, jackets, ties, skirts, shirts, and shoes more affordable.

Some clothing items could cost under $200 and some as low as under $100, according to a release.

Last but not least, students will also have an opportunity to have professional headshots taken at the JCPenney Portrait Studio with packages starting at $29.99
