PUEBLO COUNTY – The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says reports of a child abduction in Pueblo West last week are false.
The sheriff’s office said there were multiple rumors posted to social media of the alleged child abduction last week. After conducting a full investigation, the sheriff’s office determined those reports are false.
Many hours were spent conducting this investigation along with multiple resources, deputies said. The sheriff’s office also confirmed there is no threat to the public.
Deputies ask the public to please look for accurate and verifiable information from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office social media pages onFacebook, Twitter and the website.
