Fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken wants to help pay for a child’s college tuition, but it’s up to the parents to make it happen.
The company is offering $11,000 in college tuition to the first child born with the name of “Harland” on September 9.
Harland was Colonel Sanders’ first name and September 9 was his birthday.
And why $11,000? It’s a nod to the company’s 11 herbs and spices.
New parents can submit an application online within 30 days of little Harland’s birth for a chance to win. The contest ends on Oct. 9.
