COLORADO SPRINGS -Police arrested a man late Sunday night on charges for allegedly hitting a man in the head with a shotgun
COLORADO SPRINGS – The late-night fight inside a townhome community on the east side of Colorado Springs had officers calling for people inside to come out with their hands up.
Officers from multiple areas were called the address on Sandcastle Point, inside the Sand Creek Villas, as the original call indicated someone inside was armed.
According to police, they arrived to find a man outside the home with a broken ankle while a man and woman were still inside.
After talking with everyone involved police arrested 45-year-old Justin Mitchell for allegedly pulling a shotgun on the victim before using it like a club, causing an injury to the victim’s face.
Colorado Springs Police have not detailed what started the argument or Mitchell’s relation to the victim.
