COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash Monday.

Police say the crash happened at the intersection of E Platte Ave and N Murray Blvd just before 9 a.m. Monday. When officers arrived, it was reported that the car involved in the crash fled the scene.

The investigation revealed the motorcycle was traveling north on Murray when a sedan pulled out of a gas station, north of the intersection, and hit the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

After searching the area, the car and driver involved were not found. The CSPD Major Accident Unit is the lead on the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
