FORT CARSON – Fort Carson announced the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, will be conducting ‘Iron Strike 18’ training exercises until September 14.
The training exercises will start Monday at Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site. Fort Carson said the training is being conducted to help prepare soldiers for any possible mission the unit could be called for around the world.
The exercise will create heavy activity along the I-25 corridor from Fort Carson to PCMS this week and the week of September 9-14.
Environmental personnel will be involved in the military training, construction and any other activities that could affect the PCMS environment, according to a release.
Fort Carson says it will continue to notify the public on any events that may affect various areas. Any noise complaints should be directed to the Fort Carson Public Affairs Office at (719) 526-9849.
