With the recent wildfires and flooding, the Humane Society of Fremont County has more animals than ever. Most of them are looking for their FUR-EVER homes.
On top of that, it’s the busiest time of the year for an animal shelter, so their building is crazy full and they desperately need to create space for incoming cats and dogs.
According to the shelter, June, July, and August are the main months that people surrender their pets, and it refuses to kill any animals to make room for more rescues.
The organization if offering some incentives to get animals into their permanent homes.
Cat adoption fees for cats over 6 month of age are WAIVED with an approved adoption application. Kittens under 6 months are $25.00.
If you’ve been pining for a dog, your chance is here. Adult dogs over 1 year are only $20.00. And dogs over 1 year are $20.00!
This includes spay and neuter, microchip with a lifetime enrollment, and all age appropriate vaccinations except rabies.
