A single-vehicle rollover crash on the south end of Colorado Springs has left one person dead early Thursday morning.
The accident happened at 2890 South Circle Dr. Colorado Springs Police said the car was exiting northbound I-25, crossed over all lanes of Circle, and came to a stop after hitting a tree. The car stopped about 10 yards short of the gas pumps at the Circle K store nearby.
One adult female occupant was found dead at the scene.
The accident has Circle blocked eastbound at I-25 and westbound at Janitell. Eastbound Lake and eastbound Circle traffic are able to use ramps to southbound and northbound I-25.
CSPD said they expect Circle and Janitell to be closed until noon for the investigation.
