The De Brazza’s monkey’s exhibit opened on Friday, July 19th. The enclosure is home to two De Brazza’s monkeys, Ruby and Kanoa.
The project is part of a multi-year campaign that also includes changes to the zoo’s cafe, bathrooms and the African painted dog exhibit.
The final phase is the construction of a special quarantine area for animals to recover from procedures and to adjust to coming to the zoo.
The zoo is open at 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily.
