Parts of the News 5 viewing area could experience severe weather Tuesday afternoon and evening as storms fire in the mountains and move over the plains.
The First Alert 5 weather team is expecting storms could be severe, especially in eastern El Paso County, where large hail and strong winds are the main threats.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm until 3:45 p.m. for areas to the northwest of Woodland Park.
Large hail is the main threat with this storm, but it could also produce 60 mph winds.
