UPDATE: Colorado Springs Police say Vinessa was found safe in the area of 85 Sunflower Road, and 26-year-old Kayla Nyquist was taken into custody.

Colorado Springs Police are looking for a missing 2-year-old girl who was taken by her mother, who does not have custody of the child.
Police are looking for 2-year-old Vinessa Nyquist and 26-year-old Kayla Nyquist, who is also known as Kayla Newcomer. Police said the girl was taken from her home in the 3100 block of Starlight Circle.
Officers said Nyquist is a transient and could be with her boyfriend, 30-year-old Joey Bobbitt.

Nyquist is described as a 5’3 140 pound white woman with blonde hair and green eyes. Bobbitt is described as a 5’10, 173 pound white man with brown hair and green eyes.
She and Bobbitt could be driving a white 1993 Toyota 4-Runner with Colorado plates OYW-807.
