A knee injury has forced golfer John Daly to withdraw from the the 2018 U.S. Senior Open Championship at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

This would have been Daly’s second U.S. Senior Open. He’ll be replaced by 50-year-old David McKenzie of Australia.

McKenzie shot 71 at The Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame, the site of the 2019 U.S. Senior Open, on June 4. He is playing in his first U.S. Senior Open. He has competed in 10 PGA Tour Champions tournaments this season, with his best finish a tie for third at the Rapiscan Systems Classic. McKenzie has also played in 42 PGA European Tour events during his career.
