As part of the Westside Avenue Action Plan, Colorado Springs Utilities will be burying electric lines and laying conduit on West Colorado Ave. beginning Sunday, June 24th.
This part of the project will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday night and last until 6 a.m. Monday morning, June 25th.
According to the CSU, the construction will completely close West Colorado Ave. from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. 31st will be open in both directions, but will be reduced to one lane for northbound traffic.
West bound traffic on Colorado Ave. will be detoured at 30th street, while eastbound traffic will be detoured at 31st.
Please use slow speeds and caution near workers and construction equipment.
