A new record has been set at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and it’s not even close.
French Racer, Romain Dumas smashed the previous record by more than 15 seconds with a run of 7:57.148. According to the event’s official live timing board, his average speed was 90.538 miles per hour.

Dumas broke the record driving a 2018 Volkswagen I.D.R
The previous record of 8:13.878 was set in 2013 by Sebastien Loeb.
