Police arrest wanted felon following home invasion in Colorado Springs

A wanted felon has been arrested after being involved in a reported home invasion with a knife early Monday morning.

Colorado Springs Police arrested 19-year-old David Graves after receiving a call of a home invasion in the area of 2400 West Monument St after 2:30 a.m. Police said it was discovered that Graves entered the home through an unlocked door and brandished a knife.

One of the residents inside was assaulted, according to police. The suspect then fled the scene on foot and was later located and arrested in the area of 2800 West Uintah Street. 

Graves was wanted on several Felony warrants for unrelated incidents and was charged with First Degree Burglary, Second Degree Assault, Felony Menacing and Criminal Mischief.
