The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Saturday night on Highway 78 in Pueblo County.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. at mile post 13, near the town of Beulah.
According to State Patrol, 69-year-old Dallas Parga of Pueblo was driving his 1995 Harley Davidson westbound on highway 78 when he lost control and struck a guard rail. Parga and the motorcycle continued along the guard rail and struck a sign and then a barbwire fence. Parga was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest in a nearby field.
Parga was transported to Parkview ER in Pueblo where he was pronounced dead.
State Patrol said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and at this time alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
