Thousands of people are expected in downtown Colorado Springs for the annual Western Street Breakfast on June 20th.
The cowboy-themed event features a hot breakfast with music by the Flying W Wranglers, country/rock band Exit West and students from the Colorado Springs Conservatory.
Volunteers from Fort Carson will prepare the grub, pancakes and eggs, for the event that raises money for local military personnel and their families.
The event costs just $5 per person. Kids 5 and under eat for free!
Be sure to break out the western wear for your children for the dress-up contents. Children will also enjoy the petting zoo, hay bale roping, drawing a gunslinger and a trick roper.
The Western Street Breakfast marks the beginning of rodeo season.
