Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers from the southeast region had a busy afternoon Monday after saving a family of geese on I-25.
The geese were trapped against a concrete median during rush hour traffic near exit 140 on I-25.
A CPW area manager and intern braved the traffic and rescued the two adult Canada geese and six goslings.

The adults and babies were put in a crate and brought to safety where no injuries were reported.
This is not the first time CPW officers have gone on a wild goose chase.
