The Colorado Springs police are asking for the public’s help in finding a mother who took her one year old son from his court-ordered home.
Officers went to a home in the 2500 block of Mount Vernon street to investigate a possible parental kidnapping. After an investigation, representatives from the Crimes Against Children Unit were contacted and obtained an arrest warrant for 19-year old Dionicia Miranda.
Police say Miranda and her one year old son Emilio, may be traveling in a grey Honda or Hyundai with unknown license plates. Ms. Miranda is described as a white female, 5’05”, 145 pounds, brown hair with brown eyes. Emilio is described as a white male, approximately 2’, approximately 25 pounds, black hair with brown eyes.
